Waxed canvas gets better with age, but it needs a little care. Avoid the washing machine — spot clean with a damp cloth instead, and re-wax once a year with a canvas-safe wax to keep the water resistance up.

The chore jacket started as workwear — boxy, durable, built for pockets and movement. It’s since become a wardrobe staple far outside the workshop, but the original details, patch pockets, corozo buttons, still matter.

Every product goes through the same filter: would we buy it ourselves, full price, no discount code? If the answer is anything less than yes, it doesn’t make the cut.

That means slower growth and a smaller catalog than most stores — and we’re fine with that trade.
